FSBO or Use an Agent?

Many sellers attempt to save money by listing their home on their own instead of hiring a realtor - but it’s not as simple as sticking a sign in the yard and slapping photos on the internet.

Even in this market, FSBO sellers run a risk of losing money. They could price too high and sit on the market, or too low leaving money on the table.

Realtors:

Correctly price your home for the current market
Negotiate with other offers
Have access to the MLS (making the property available to multiple home-buying websites)
Help with the financial and legal jargon
Handle the paperwork & make sure you meet deadlines
Act as a safeguard against potential issues
Market with professional photos, videos, or social media

Selling a home is a huge undertaking and can feel like a full-time job (it is!). Use a professional with the skills, knowledge, and resources to set you up for success. A good Realtor will be worth every penny!
